Somatic Relationship Intensive with Matt

Sometimes, 1-hour sessions are just not enough time.

Are you and your partner stuck in a loop when it comes to sex and intimacy? Or maybe you're navigating some deep stuff around desire, identity, or what your body is telling you—and you want a space that feels safe, curious, and grounded?

This Somatic Relationship Intensive gives you a body-centered, psychotherapeutic structure to help you move through some of the trickier terrain of sexuality and connection. Together, we’ll slow things down, listen to your bodies, and begin to untangle the inherited, sex-negative messages that often live deep in our nervous systems.

This is an intentional, focused deep dive that supports:

  • Sexual diversity and expression

  • Gender embodiment

  • Access to pleasure

  • Embodied consent

  • The quality of your focus and connection

And it’s all done in a space that acknowledges how much our relationships—and our communities—shape the way we feel in our bodies and the way we relate to others.

At the core of this work is your somatosensory experience—what it feels like to be in your body right now. This includes the whole, complex internal landscape: moments of desire, discomfort, curiosity, and even confusion. Sensations move and shift in response to both your internal world and your external environment. We follow those signals and begin to learn your unique erotic map.

We’ll work with a method I learned from Mellisa Walker’s Somatic-Concentric Sex Therapy Model called Erotic Bodyfulness—a whole-body mindfulness practice. It helps you learn to switch between the zoomed-in moments (like what your fingertips are feeling) and the big picture (your whole relational and social context). It’s about noticing how your body is always responding—whether you’re alone, with a partner, or moving through the world.

This intensive is especially helpful if you want to:

  • Deepen your erotic connection with a partner

  • Explore what feels good, what doesn’t, and why

  • Work through desire discrepancies, shame, or “blocks” around sexuality

  • Learn to support your partner while also honoring your own needs

  • Create rituals or practices that build safety and excitement in intimacy

Note: This model does not include any touch from me. The only touch involved would be consensual, non-sexual touch between members of a relationship, as part of in-session guided exercises.

You can also combine this intensive with ongoing relationship therapy for longer-term support.
